Theremand the open of the new measures introduced as an amendment to Article (143/3) of the Code of the Egypt Criminal Procedure No.150 of 1950 authorized there under referral Court and the Court of Egyptian veto power to extend the period of remand after the abolition of the maximum him felonies punishable by life imprisonment or the death penalty and then does not allow the accused to request provisional release until the final verdict of the charge against him, which is incompatible with the presumption of innocence guaranteed by the Constitution of Egypt, and the current law of the Egyptian criminal proceedings, as well as Egypt international obligations under the international convenants on human rights on determining the duration of remand.
