The research is written in 164 pages.

It is divided into an introduction, four sections, and a conclusion.

The introduction is concerned with a discussion of the importance of the research topic, its aim, its problems, its methodology and its plan.

The first section addresses the clarification of the general concepts relating to “endowment” and “development” in terms of linguistic, juristic and economic definitions, without any exorbitance in relation thereto.

The second section deals with the different development perspectives of the endowment and its role in achieving sustainable financial and economic development.

As for the third section, it examines the effect of the endowment on some macroeconomic variables.

The fourth section discusses the obstacles to the endowment system in Egypt.

Finally, the research reaches a conclusion comprising a presentation on the results and proposed recommendations in this regard, and a table of contents.
