Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to identify the negative effects of domestic violence on University education and on the role played by Arab universities and whether domestic violence prevents the achievement of their goals in achieving the desired development of their communities, The main problem of the research focused on proposing strategies to address domestic violence and the development of academic performance and scientific research in universities to qualify as centers of intellectual and cultural radiation that contribute to the advancement of progress.

The researchers adopted the descriptive approach in dealing with the subject of research; this approach is indispensable in human research.

The researchers also relied on available data on the problem and research objectives.

And then draw conclusions and recommendations that contribute to addressing the main problem of research.

The researchers drew many conclusions that emphasize the need to address the negative effects of domestic violence and its impact on Arab universities And that our Arab universities are still far from their communities and its function is limited to the graduation of students, this trend is not a stage advanced than secondary, It is therefore required to be productive universities that rely on themselves economically and contribute to the development of economic, social and political solutions to the problems of society, and to achieve the quality required in their programs and outputs
