Algeria has been oriented towards a gradual change in the economic policy depending on the market forces, in which, the private sector and mainly small and medium entreprises are likely to draw a lot of interest.

Hence, this area of economy has attracted the attention of law and economic policies makers, not only in Algeria but all over the world, due to its importance.

Within this regard, it is very crucial to define the concepts of small and medium entreprises in the Algerian law compared to the French and Egyptian laws.

Moreover, the evolution of the legal regulation of these entreprises is also tackled with reference to the laws that encourage investment in this sector
