In order to preserve the credibility of scientific research in the field of academic studies and for the sake of the dedication of the scientific honesty in scientific research* there has recently been a growing interest in the scientific research ethics crisis due to the plagiarism as a widespread phenomenon which was exaeei baled by the explosion of knowledge and information that w'e are witnessing.

This immoral behavior was a fertile topic for discussion in many scientific events such as conferences* forums and seminars.

It also attracted the interest of the competent authorities in the field of higher education and scientific research in Algeria* which has not been reluctant to issue ministerial decisions in order to reach a clear ambiguity about the notion of this phenomenon and identify ways and mechanisms to confront it.

This is what we will try to clarify through this article so that everyone who is related to the field of scientific research would be aware of plagiarism and equally the importance of ways to combat it.
