Realism is considered one of the most in the field of important theories internatinal relation since its analyses are still evident and reliable nowdays.

Realism highlights the international phenomenon considering what (is in reality) : studies the different situations, situating itself well far from ethical contruction to give clarifications to the development of international that’s it is considered a turning point in modern theory.

It looks at the State as a unit in order to understand the interactions within the international system, emphasizing the national interest and power as a binary and also as two importent variables to manage the international relations.

In doing so, nations are constantly urged to take part in alliances so as to maintain their interest and increase their power.
