Abstract EN

Modern changes and transformations -that left by human endeavors which aimed at civilized development- have resulted in multiple dangers and compound threats that have formed in their entirety the risk society that has become global.

And which also has been embodied in discussions of modern social science in the form of a theory describing and analyzing the sharp and dangerous changes that are occurring in the contemporary world.

In the light of the growing debate about the global risk society and its repercussions on lives of peoples and societies, and also with violent shocks that followed education in the global risk society that was accompanied by shortcomings in its roles and functions in a way that made it absent in most discussions and debates about the risk society, the current research aims at revealing the role of the Egyptian education in the context of the global risk society and problems of this role.

And also the possibility of activating it through adopting innovative patterns and rehabilitation pathways that qualify it to play an effective and influential role that keeps pace with the current moment.

In order to achieve these goals, the intellectual foundations of the global risk society have been explored, the determinants and assumptions of the role of education in the global risk society are also analyzed, and the most important problems facing the role of Egyptian education in the light of these determinants and assumptions.

Then the research adopts some patterns of function renewal to become risk education with appropriate global, developmental, and digital characteristics.

The research ends by establishing integrated pathways to activate the patterns of function renewal that are necessary to activate the role of Egyptian education within the global risk society.
