Abstract EN

The study aims to study the development of youth leadership skills through participation in student activities concerned with volunteering.

The study followed the analytical descriptive method.

The study sample consisted of 148 students from the university youth who participated in the student activity MOIC.

They applied the Public Data Form and participated in the student activity on volunteerism (MOIC).

And a questionnaire on the participation of university youth in the student activity concerned with volunteering.

And the scale of leadership skills among university youth.

The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the total score of the questionnaire of the participation of university youth in the student activity Concerned with volunteering and the total of the leadership skills scale among the youth and its axis at 0.01 level.

The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level of significance 0.01 in the total questionnaire of participation in the student activity Concerned with volunteer work and in the axe of the obstacles of participation at the level of 0.01 in favor of males, in the total participation questionnaire and in the axe of motives for participation at the level of 0.01 for the benefit of urban youth, and the results resulted in significant differences At the level of significance of 0.01 in the total of leadership skills and in the axis of decision-making skills and problem solving and the management skills of the university youth according to gender for males, and at the level of 0.01 in the axis of decision-making and problem solving skills according to the region for the urban, and the existence of statistically significant differences At the level of significance 0.05 in the axis of decision-making skills and problem-solving according to the type of study in favor of practical study.

Fnally, the results revealed that sex and monthly expenditure were the most independent variables affecting the dependent variable.

The participation period was the most independent variable for the youth.

The research sample was an explanation of the percentage of variation in the dependent variable.
