Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify the impact of utilizing Blended Learning approach on students' acquisition of "Information Technology" course within the Foundation Program to Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) students.

It also aimed at identifying students' attitudes towards the Blended Learning approach.

The course was designed according to the stages of the generic modelfor educational design: ADDIE.

After completing the formative evaluation procedures, the deigned course was uploaded to the university's website and tested as an exploratory sample.

Necessary, modifications were made and the course was released in its final form and became ready for implementation.

The researcher also prepared an achievement test in order to measure students' achievements in the course modules.

Additionally, the researcher prepared an attitude scale form for identifying students' attitudes towards using blended learning.

The study sample consisted of 126 Foundation Program male and female students from various SQU colleges in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019.
