Abstract EN

The study and follow-up of programs related to morning TV magazines on Arab satellite channels by the researcher, two programs were selected for the study, namely, "Sabah al-Khair Yamaser" and "Sabah Al-Iraqiya" -The length of the broadcast of the programs of the morning television magazines which are broadcasted daily, makes the task difficult for those in charge of communication, or directors, or presenters to reach the hearts of the recipients and attract their attention, and that requires a lot of efforts in both preparation and presentation stages.

-Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr program which is on the air for 3 hours every day, representing 12.5% of daily satellite broadcasting, while Sabah Al-Iraqiya length is two hours daily of broadcasting, which represents 8.3% of daily time broadcasting, and this represents most of the broadcasting time allocated that requires a close and thorough attention, and since broadcasting starts after midnight in the Iraqi time zone, which will make it reach 16.6% of the total length of broadcasting time per day.

-Sabah Al-Iraqiya program is characterized by being presented by male and female anchor team, while the program, Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr” is introduced by only one anchor despite its length and number of dialogues that the presenter is engaged in performing, which previously required between 2 to 4 of male and female anchors, hence Three hours long program requiring constant focus and engaging several parties, constitutes a real difficulty whatever the abilities of the presenter.

The proposed program " Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr" will return to involve more than a single presenter in order to facilitate the task and to become a more influential program.

-both programs have correspondents inside and outside the country.

Some of them send direct and indirect recorded video reports, 4-5 reports by Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr, and about 6 reports in the Iraqi Sabah program.

The length of each report ranges from 3 to 15 minutes by Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr program, and about 3 to 8 minutes s in the Iraqi Sabah program.

However, the study showed that the gender composition of citizens attending the meetings is 30% females and 70% males in the Sabah program of Iraq, that is, there is a big difference between the genders, while this difference in the Egyptian program is far less.

The daily running shows cover about 30% of Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr program.

while the running daily shows constitute about 46% of the Sabah Al-Iraqiya program.

there are other fixed running sections in Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr program, and if we consider the related re-run news several times, then fixedshows will rise to about 50 in the "Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr", while "Sabah Al- Iraqiya" program, runs a cooking show which occupies about 18% of program time, while "Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr" program does not include a special cooking program since it covers that ahead of the morning magazine.

-The results confirm the first hypothesis identified by the study: (The morning TV magazines in Arab satellite channels offer similar fixed sections).

-The proportion of broadcast articles with news and political content constitute 52% in "Sabah al-Khair Yamasr" program, but only 10% of the "Sabah al-Iraqiya." Program.

These results confirm that the news and political content is overwhelming in the "Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr" program, which confirms the second hypothesis introduced by the study that "the morning television magazines in the Arab satellite channels provide mostly news in its broadcasting".

-The percentage of the broadcast of the sections that carry entertainment or artistic content constitute 6.5% in the "Sabah Al-Kheir Yamasr", compared to only 5% of the program "Sabah al-Iraqiya".

-The percentage of broadcast of cultural content is 2% in "Sabah Al-Khair Yamasr" program, compared to 20.5% of "Sabah Al-Iraqiya" program.

-The percentage of scientific and medical broadcasting content is 8.5% in "Sabah Al-Khair Yamasr" program, compared to 14% of Sabah Al-Iraqiya program.

-The percentage of varieties content broadcasted, in addition to general social issues cover 31% in the program "Sabah al-Khair Yamasser", but reaches to 50.5% of "Sabah al-Iraqiya".

And these results converge slightly and not fully with the second hypothesis of the study is ((The morning television magazines in Arab satellite channels provide sections similar in form and content.

- Both programs offer a few and limited sections of entertainment programs, that spread joy and euphoria among viewers, to start a pleasant day.
