Abstract EN

Attention has been given in educational technology research to support and motivate learners to continue and persevere in distance learning, because they need to stimulate their motivation that enables them to continue their learning, without withdrawing from learning environments.

This has led to the use of gamefication to motivate students towards learning activities.

The aim of the present research is to develop an e-learning environment supported by two types of gamefication (badges and progress bars), as a design variable to improve students' learning and academic perseverance, and to measure the impact of their interaction with the learning style (holistic/ analytical).

Research results have shown that the use of digital gamefication regardless of their learning style has had an impact on students' learning and academic perseverance.
