Abstract EN

Seyed Hibt ul Din Al Sherhstani was a thinker, researcher, interpreter, and a fighter.

He had an honorable role in defending Islamic religion principles through his intellectual activity represented by issuing many books that clarifies original Islamic truth.

One of these books ( Al Hai'ih we Al Islam) where he stated the concord and connection between religion of Islam and the pure scientific cases.

He also published ( science of journal) which was the first Iraqi Arabic journal in holy Najaf in 1910 with an aim to serve religion and science.

Moreover, he established many associations to spread religion of Islam, such as ( Islam service association )in Al Adhemeyah, ( Islamic university) in Misan, ( reform association) in Bahrain, and many others.

Al Sherhstani took care with woman rights where he assured her role in Islam.

He stated her influential impact in creating a good society and he emphasized woman right in teaching and her equity with the man in this respect.

Al Sherhstani assured fighting ( jihad) against the British occupation to Iraq in 1914 AD.
