Issues relating to financial inclusion are a subject of growing interest and one of the main socio-economic challenges on the agenda of developing countries.
This document attempts to quantify the degree of financial inclusion in Algeria from 2013 to 2018 via a multidimensional index measured by the normalized Euclidean distance.
We postulate that the degree of financial inclusion is determined by three dimensions: availability, usage and penetration.
The weights assigned to the dimensions are determined subjectively.
According to the results, there is a low degree of financial inclusion mainly due to the usage index which represents the percentage of savings and credit in relation to the gross domestic product.

Les questions relatives à l'inclusion financière font l'objet d'un intérêt croissant et constituent l'un des principaux défis socio-économiques à l'ordre du jour des pays en voie de développement.
Le présent document tente à quantifier le degré d'inclusion financière en Algérie de 2013 à 2018 via un indice multidimensionnel mesuré par la distance euclidienne inversée et normalisée.
Nous postulons que l'inclusion financière est définie par trois dimensions: la disponibilité, la pénétration et l'utilisation.
Les poids attribués aux dimensions sont déterminés de manière subjective.
D'après les résultats, on constate un faible degré d'inclusion financière due principalement à l'indice d'utilisation qui représente le pourcentage de l'épargne et du crédit par rapport au produit intérieur brut.
