In this article we will provide an overview of various studies carried out in a few countries such as the United States, Finland, Belgium, Singapore and in the Canadian context in particular on the practices of measuring human capital in organizations and its impact.

With a view to carrying out a study subsequently which will probe these same HRM practices in Algerian companies, the analysis of the results obtained will help us to determine the most widespread measurement indicators used by HR professionals and their correlation.

Dans cet article nous allons faire un survol sur différentes études réalisées dans quelques pays comme les Etats-Unis, la Finlande, la Belgique, Singapour et dans le contexte Canadien en particulier sur les pratiques de la mesure du capital humain dans les organisations et son impact sur la performance organisationnelle.
Dans l'optique de réaliser une étude par la suite qui sondera ces mêmes pratiques de GRH dans les entreprises Algériennes, l'analyse des résultats obtenus va nous aider à déterminer les indicateurs de mesure les plus répandus et utilisés par les professionnels RH et leur corrélation (réelle ou surestimée) avec la performance organisationnelle.
