This article highlights the topic of the new institutional economy in Algeria Through an analytical study of governance indicators Given the great importance of this economy in various sectors, No country is progressing with a lack of institutional procedure Introducing the new institutional economy in Algeria as a development challenge to advance the Algerian economy, Governance is the fertile field that contributes to achieving the orientation of the Algerian economy towards this économy It was found from the study that the indicators of governance in Algeria during the period (2004-2016) ranged from medium to weak, this reflected negatively on the situation of the institutional economy in Algeria.
