is an attempt to shed some light on the role of non verbal communication and it's importance in the individual's life, considering it prior to verbal communication which emergence did not cancel non verbal communication.

This research also aims to demonstrate one of the various aspects of non verbal communication which is clothing, specifically traditional clothing, and we djudged it important to illustrate the symbolic and the semantic messages that kabyle women traditional clothes as a sample to show (prove) that traditional clothes are not arbitrary but they are submitted to societal rules, convention (customs), tradition and beliefs.
