The study The aims at suggest a mathematical program according to a constructional theory for seventh grade students.

The affective of the program in developing a mathematical concept and cognitive thinking skills .

Also, it aims to identify the relationship between the understanding of mathematical concepts and the cognitive thinking for the experimental group.

the descriptive and experimental methods were uses in This study.

The study sample consents of 60 students, from a school in Al-mesrakh distract.

The sample was divided into two , 30 students as a control group and 30 students as an experimental group.

The data was analyzed using post and after test for the two groups.

findings of the study: 1.

There was a significant difference between the average mean of the experimental group in post and pretest for the achievement test as all and on the level of understanding, remembering and applying, And also in the test of cognitive thinking skills in favor of the pretest.

2.There was a significant difference between the average man for the control and experimental groups on the pretest on the concepts tests and on understanding and applying level.

There was a significant difference between the average scores on the cognitive thinking skills as all accept for the deductive skills on the favor of the experimental group that indicates or confirms the effective of the program on develop the mathematical concept and the cognitive thinking skills.

3.there was a positive relation on the average scores between the scors of the post test for both tests (mathematical concepts and the cognitive thinking skills).

Recommendations of the study: There were several l suggestions and recommendations such as: 1) the necessity of using cognitive thinking skills to achieve many of the goals of teaching mathematics.

more attention should be given to mathematical concepts and methods of teaching.

conduct similar studies using the suggested program for different sample of seventh grade students to confirm the results of the current study.
