The core question of cognitive science revolves around the study of knowledge; Its concepts, fields, and other functions associated with it, and all aspects that are shaped by it, or the means that produce and create them; Therefore, the concept of knowledge remains a central concept in the cognitive sciences despite the diversity of debates between different trends over its definition and definition.

The cognitive science has passed through its emergence through various stages and successive revolutions, and those revolutions have always been accompanied by the question of cognitive integration between the overlapping fields in addressing the problem of the cognitive phenomenon.

From the disciplines, from which ideas, treatments, approaches and basic problems are derived.

The question here comes: Does this dependence constitute a science that has its own distinctive character? Hence some kind of loneliness.

Or is it a multidisciplinary field for each discipline its independence? In other words, the problematic question remains about characterizing interdisciplinary relationships.

That is, the question about challenging the unity or independence between them, which allows it to be a science, or a grouping of disciplines that maintain their own.
