Abstract EN

As far as I know, his paper can be considered the first individual study tackling the history otf Dar Al-Hadith Al- Kameliyah which was established in Egypt by King Al-Kamel in 621 AH.

It also shows the great role it played in service of the Holy Prophetic Sunnah by means of employing great memorizers of the Qur᾿ān as its instructors.

Those leading scholars have written many books and publications, which enriched the Hadith movement, holding sessions for listening, reciting, narrating and dictating hadiths.

The study has reached a number of conclusions, highlighting the immense role Al-Kameliya played in serving the Sunnah for three decades.

Al-Kameliyah was a magnificent example of a charitable organization.

Various community sectors, including kings, princes, scholars, top officials and merchants, united to make it a great success.

Its reliance on an independent budget, provided through its specified donation, is one of the reasons why it succeeded in playing that great role.

Another reason would be in selecting its teachers and Sheikhs on the basis of their academic efficiency throughout all the historical phases.

Consequently, it became an illuminating civilizational scientific breakthrough, not only in the Islamic history but in the human history at large
