The Ayyubid era celebrated the emergence of many scholars in various fields of science, including, of course, the science of history, in which many historians excelled and became famous and filled with their knowledge of the horizons, and among these historians sebt of Ibn al-Jawzi, who wrote a valuable book in history, namely the book (The Mirror of Time in History Notables) that important historical book, Which dealt in the folds of history from the principle of creating the heavens and the earth, and up to the year of the death of its author in the year 654 AH / 1256 CE, The book contains many important topics worthy of research and study, and among these topics is the topic of (Al-Hifaa), that is, walking without shoes or sandals, which was mentioned in the book in many places, especially in the translations of some ascetics, worshipers and Sufis.

So I preferred to write on this topic ( The barefoot and the most famous barefoot in the Mirror of Time book For sebt of Ibn Al-Jawzi (d.654 AH / 1256 CE) Until I explain this phenomenon and how the author presented it, its causes, and the most famous barefoot that the book dealt with by translating for them.

I mentioned in the research a translation of sebt of Ibn al-Jawzi, and a brief study of his book The Mirror of Time.

I also mentioned the definition of the barefoot, its causes and its forms, as well as the biographies of the barefoot months mentioned by the author.
