The study aims to highlight the most important procedural and substantive legal texts governing the duties of the member of Parliament by focusing on highlighting the most important duties imposed by parliamentary action on the member of Algeria, in particular the duty to achieve the public interest and full-time during the parliamentary term to serve in his own Council to ensure his independence and good performance of his parliamentary work, as well as to maintain the confidentiality of the deliberations of the committees.

The breach and failure to comply with those duties lead to the imposition of disciplinary sanctions on the member of Parliament
