History witnesses that the algerian woman -without putting aside the masculine nature of the societies backthen- has shown quite a strength, vitality and efficiency that served her well in earning respect and appreciation within her family and society.

Also her participation in the matters of the daily life has expanded and became substantial at the times of peace and at the times of war, besides her role as the base of the family.

That history has written down many times that women took charge and held responsibilities where she were the commander and had the final word in a crucial matters at the hardest times, and the easiest.

The political and the militairy history of the algerian woman at the Ottoman reign is seen as one of the important sides that the historians didn't go deep into it, and considered the women as a minority even with their knowledge of thier importance and availability of the resources that can be well used to study this part of history
