From the beginning, Algeria, as a whole country, was against the French Colonial.

In fact, this position was consistent throughout the existence of this transgressing authority.

Therefore, its opposition was expressed through various forms and styles that varied between collective and individual, political and military, and corporative.

Accordingly, Tiaret, as a part of this geographical area, resisted and fought the French presence due to its leaders and scientists since they participated in the national struggle at various times through different activities: political, electoral, and military conflict.

In this regard, the present paper attempts to examine the aspects of the contribution made by the people of this region in the political struggle.

So, what are the features of the political activity in Tiaret during the period of the Political Struggle? What are the reference and the nature of this political practice? How did its leaders, with their political awareness and their patriotic sense, create a local political movement in this region where they supported the national struggle and the political action in general? And in which domains were they active? How did they affect the national struggle by their movement?.
