The Study concentrated on the knowledge of Cavafy with Greek mythology, and its characters, making him used perfectly when he had written to his work, to Emphasis on the idea that the mythology can meet with a poem on a mission to express the social reality, who wrote the poem, in an attempt by the poet to answer many questions, making Cavafy was inspired by it to search for a way to enable him to reveal and expression, so we used poems "Second Odyssey & Ithaca" to proved how Cavafy tried through Greek mythology, which placed in his poems that combines various human relations of the feelings of love and romance, pain, hatred, also addressed several political, social, cultural, and economic aspects.
