Abstract EN

Media means consider as one of the most important communication means which aim to supply the pulolic with all in for mention and the news in asubjactive way, that to make a huge amount of know ledge, awareness and realization for the audience about the media matters.

this would contribut to make a full scene for the events that conside them and help them to make the suitable judges to words the media matters.

The local radio achivesthse needs, for its closeness to society, that it creats the society's special characterstics since it meets the cultural and informative needs of that society.

The central radio stations couldn't take such role as the local radio, so the researcher has to study the role of local radio to achieve these aims.

The researcher takes (AL-QuthiraTikrit) radio as a model, thet the research contains four chapters.

Chapter one is about the systematic part of the study.

chapter two and three contains the theoretical study.

chapter four takes the practical study, conclusions and results.

The researcher used the survey methodology and he chooses intentional sample from collage of Art/media depart mentis students to answer a questionnaire which contains siteen statistical table.
