Abstract EN

The research has aimed to adopt Criteria's for Effective Academic department standards from the point view of Faculty members at the Mechanical Engineering Technical College one of formation of Middle Technical University.

To achieve the aims of the study, A questionnaire has been prepared containing 33 standards was designed within the core of the educational environment of the scientific section, and 48 standards with the core of personal and scientific characteristics of the head of the department.

After analyzing the responses of the sample members on the degree of their acceptance of the criteria's by the five-point scale (Very importuned, important, Average important, limited importance, not importance).

The questionnaire also included open questions to know the opinion of the sample members, or to change or modify them.

The research sample consisted of 54 faculty members of the Technical Engineering College.

After analyzing the answers of the faculty members at the level of their appreciation of the importance of the proposed standards and acceptance of the criteria that received a high degree of acceptance and rejected the criteria that received a degree of acceptance of medium.

The research came out with a number of recommendations
