Abstract EN

This study has two parts for research the first part present the following elements:
Temples of the oases of Egypt are rich sources for many of the frescoes and pictograms engraved on the walls of its temples.

This is illustrated by studying most of the inscriptions and wall paintings on the walls of the temples in the oases of Egypt in general and the oasis of El Dakhla in particular in The Roman era.

Many of the inscriptions and drawings that depict the biography of the past and show the extent of the population's interest in religious life and their close connection intellectually and religiously in the valley among these are the temples of Dair Elhager of the god Amon-Ra or Amon-Serapis.

It is noted these paintings and murals on the walls painted in red and some charcoal while others are in black ink and most of the paintings in the shape of rectangle or square or circle All of them express the worship of the god Amon - Serapis but there was not any mention for the words of worship and pilgrimage (Προσκυνημα) to the god Amon So I chose from these models a distinctive model.

It is the only example in which the reference in the Roman era of Hajj Προσκυνημα to the god Amon - Serapis in the El Dakhla Oasis has been engraved in the painting several times in different parts of it.

It contains other relevant elements that illustrate many important points such as the development of the worship of the god Amon from the Pharaonic to the Roman era as well as the sequence of the worship of some gods associated with the god Amon Ra and mingled with many Greek and Roman gods such as the worship of Serapis.

The second part of this research: thereis a presentation and explanation for the two parts of this mural.

The upper part has many divine titles for the god Amon -Serapis they were written in Greek language.

The lower part has graphic drawing for other gods were associated with Amon with many divine attributes and I followed that by illustration of the civilized development of religious life in the oasis of Dakhla and the extent of religious thought between the oases of Egypt and the Nile Valley region.
