English Abstract

This topic deals with one of the sub-cities of the city of Babel, the great city of Soura, the city with a long history, which did not have enough space to write about it despite the time period, but found in the stomach of the books of words scattered here and there, This information is studied in a scientific historical study, to find out the intellectual, physical and economic products of the company, and what its sons have provided us during this long history in various scientific fields.

Sora was one of the oldest Jewish religious centers and even the center of the Jewish community.

It established many Jewish temples and schools in ancient periods.

It lasted until the sixth century AH.

After this long history, Sora lived under the Umayyad rule, Even subject to the same situation in the rest of the Arab Islamic countries of the rule of the Poeh, and was approved in 694 for immigration by the charity Zaid.

It is located in the center of which is the shrine of Qasim bin Imam Al-Kadhim (p.), Which has remained unique to this day.

In addition, it has included the palace of Ibn Hubira, the bridge of Surat and other landmarks that were hidden by time.
