English Abstract

Since the first year of the British Labor Party led by Harold and Lyson, specifically in 4770, one of the first aims pursued by the workers' government was the willingness of government institutions to intervene to narrow the framework for the adoption of the free market doctrine and the despicable capitalism (as Labor members called it) And not allow all private companies to exercise their role in controlling the British economy.

As well as the work of the Government of hard-working workers in drafting laws and regulations that would strengthen trade unions and their relations with major industrial enterprises, and in fact did so to a great extent, and also focused the policy of the Labor Party in seeking to reduce the value of benefits to the unemployed, The British government sought to restore the economy and revalue the pound, which depreciated against other foreign currencies.

The policy of Harold Wilson, President of the Labor government, which he applied during his presidency was the lack of supervision over the financial sector, the privatization of national companies and the reduction of the public budget for the education sector and social services.

This policy continued even in the government of James Callaghan.

Britain's economic recession is characterized by tight fiscal policy and high rates of unemployment, offset by an increase in labor costs, an increase in taxes and a significant depreciation of the pound against other foreign currencies.

Which led to strikes and demonstrations against British Labor policy, which led to its loss in the 4777 parliamentary elections and the victory of Conservative Party led by Margaret Thatcher.
