The present research examines the relationship between banking sector development and economic growth in Egypt.
This is conducted by using a time-series data over the period 1974-2015.
To estimate the relationship between banking sector development and economic growth, a multiple regression model is employed.
The results of the study reveals that the banking sector development has a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Egypt.
