Abstract EN

research aims at discussing narrative experimenta- tion in short stories of narrator Adi Alherbish: (The Story of the Boy who saw Sleep) (Alherbish, 2009), which is embodied in the writer's exploitation of heritage through the style of demol- ishing of the heritage story, then constructing another one on its ruins, as well as through the innovating of the heritage story and its composition of the creative imagination, while mixing between the literary and historical heritage of Arab and West- em, which combines reality, imagination, and rich with fantas- tic, and legendary atmospheres, addition to what the stories of thecollection are containing of mixture between verbalism and writing in addressing the recipient.

The research starts from the question: How the Alherbish's narrative experience differ from his predecessors narrators? The answer to this question calls for three questions: - What is experimental narrative? - What are the manifestations of the experience of the Alherbish's in the above collection? - What is the recipient's attitude toward this experiment?
