Abstract EN

Muslim-Christian dialogue has been of great importance by virtue of exchanging ideas, clarifying ambiguous issues, identifying suspicions and approximating concepts.

In the first section, a series of individual dialogues were presented, including the dialogue between Omar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) and the old Christian.

In addition, the dialogue of our master Khalid Bin Al Waleed and Jerja.

Moreover, the dialogue between Harun al-Rashid and his doctor.

Finally, the dialogue between Ibn Tala and Nasrani in Cordoba.

While the second section is devoted to models of group dialogues such as a dialogue between a Muslim sheikh and some Christians in Constantinople besides to the dialogue between Ali Reda and Jatlik in the Council of the Mamoun.

This study concluded that the nature of the Islamic call requires a discursive methodical behaviour for dealing with Christians while demonstrating the truth requires dialogue with the other Christian to defend the Islamic faith, the return of suspicions and correct concepts.

What is more, Christian presence in the open areas and their contact with Muslims forced dialogue on controversial issues besides to highlight the model of the Muslim axes and the high morals that have contributed to the acceptance of the call of Islam by the Christian axis.

Finally, dialogue is found to be the best approach for Christians to coexist with Muslims.
