Abstract EN

This scientific paper seeks to emphasize the importance research in civilizational relations to contribute in repairing the spoilt relations through mutual human interaction that extends throughout history despite the barriers existing in thought, behaviours and perceptions of civilization poles.

This pushes many scholars to embark on the causes of this civilization conflicts.

However, the civilization gap has been widened by some of these scholars, namely the orientalists who managed to accumulate a huge amount of knowledge about the Islamic civilization.

This has prompted Muslim scholars to interact with the writings of orientalism in terms of study and criticism.

Some scholars considered that orientalist studies as one of the obstacles preventing the building of a global human civilization.

If this is the case, then, the scientific necessity tries to find out, on the other hand, the scientific and methodological space that makes oriental studies a key point to building humanity common good; the purport of this paper.

It suggests some approaches that can be resorted to build human unity through interaction with oriental studies.

The methodological necessity requires dividing of this paper into four parts, each addresses four central issues.
