Abstract EN

The aggravation of environmental problems in the world and the consequent risks to all objects become one of the things that require the active participation from everyone to face these environmental problems.

This research aims to identify the level of practice of university students to the environmental concepts, as well as knowing the differences significance in environmental behavior according to (sex, specialty, stage, father education, mother education).

To achieve the objectives of the research the researchers adopt (Sosa and Kenyor 2008) scale to measure environmental practices which consists (31) item in its final form.

After calculated the validity and reliability of the scale.

the researchers apply the scale on a sample of students consisting of (200) male and female students chosen randomly from the college of education /of Al Mustansiriya University.

The results revealed that the students have a good level of practicing environmental concepts.

There are significant differences in environmental behavior according to specialty.

While there are no significant differences in environmental behavior according to (sex, stage, father education, mother education).

Several recommendations and suggestions has listed depending on the results of the study.
