Abstract EN

Many researchers, psychologists and sociologists have paid great attention to the family, as the family is the one that establishes the bonds and relationships between members of the same community, and marriage is one of the most important determinants of mental health for both spouses and children, which has called many researchers to pay attention to studying family relations, especially marital relations.

In the current study, the researcher relied on the descriptive approach.

The study sample consisted in its final form of a group of (120) participants from both husbands and wives.

The quality of marital life scale (the researcher's preparation) was used.

The study came out with recommendations, the most important of which is the need to establish special counseling centers that deal with the affairs of the spouses and discuss the various issues and problems that the spouses are exposed to.

As well as the establishment of effective centers to deal with all problems related to marital disputes, it should be based on the management of these centers scientifically qualified cadres in this field.

And the creation of pre-marital training courses in which the requirements of married life and the stages in which married life passes are identified.
