Abstract EN

The paper deals with compiling the Fiqhi questions of Imam Ahmed narrated by Alhassan Ibn Thawab (d.

268 AH) who is one of the companions of Imam Ahmed who transferred his jurisprudence to later generations like Abdullah Ibn Ahmed Ibn Hanbal, his son, Ishaq Ibn Hani’, Ibn Bakhtan and many others.

However, Alhassan Ibn Thawab did not narrate the reports of Imam Ahmed as frequent as others; his narrations have not been compiled in a single book before, but they were scattered in the books used in the school of jurisprudence and books of narrators’ biography.

This paper focuses on compiling and classifying these narrations according to the chapters of the books of jurisprudence, comparing them to other narrations and the reports of Imam’s companions that form the authentic school, giving textual evidence of the authenticity of Alhassan Ibn Thawab’s narration, comparing this evidence to that of other narration, and finally weighing the authentic narration.

Since the study is long, the questions narrated in the chapters of Purification and Prayers are only addressed.

Out of the 10 questions examined, turned out that only eight are aligned to the school of jurisprudence of Imam Ahmed.
