Water transport boats industry is one of the important industries in Iraq and has great economic importance If the investment and development of its industry in many types suitable for different uses, the research aims to identify the most important natural geographical components that have an impact on the industry such as water resources, which represent the geographical space of the movement of these vessels as well as the climate Which directly affects the industry itself and indirectly the water levels in the waterways in which the vessels are moving, The most important human and economic factors that contributed to the endowment of the water transport industry in Iraq are raw materials, labor, capital, market, government intervention, trade and fishing.

The research concluded that Iraq could invest the water transport boat industry in the availability of these components, The need for support by the state for this industry, especially in the field of encouraging the relevant departments to consume the products of this industry, such as the Ministry of Transport, Environment and Agriculture and the Ministry of Water Resources, as well as supporting the workshops of the private sector competent to this industry as well as the revitalization of water transport in Iraq Investment of these vessels in light of the available resources.
