Abstract EN

Man would not live in one pattern in his life.

There must be transformations from joy to sadness and vice versa.

Because life is change from one time to another.

Therefore, this research is entitled (The Psycho logical Transformations in the Poetry of Ibn Ammar) to express the psychological state in which he goes through.

The life of this man is divided into modesty he lived in his childhood to affluence in the latter part of his friendship with Al-Mu’tamid.

The research is divided into two inquiries: the first is about egoism or the poems of the ego such as pride.

The second is about the transformation of ego.

Then the research ends in a conclusion.

The most important finding is that narcissism expresses a pathological state that inflicts man focuses around pride and self-love.

The state of Ibn Ammar changes from to another state in which he was proud and haughty.

He was aspiring to assume the throne in one of al-Andlus, which his ability and confidence allowed him to believe that.

We see self-love in many of his poems.

In other poems there is a transfromaiton of the humility and subjecting.

The life of Ibn Ammar ended tragically at the hands of his friends the King Al-Mu’tamid.
