Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of the extracurricular activities in the development of social values among third-year middle school students There for, the researchers conducted their studies on a sample included (60) student divided on 3 middle schools in Ain oussera, doing that they Followed the Descriptive analytical method, After studying the educational manners.

The researchers prepared a questionnaire ,the questionnaire consisted three domains and the total number of the statements of the questionnaire was (27), Percentages where used, so was the K² test as statistical means to analyze the results of the study.

in the end the researchers proved true the hypothesis, Where extracurricular activities have been proven as an important factors in achieving the principle of social cooperation among students, extracurricular activities play a major role in creating social competition and have a positive role in the development of the group spirit, therefore the researchers recommended: 1- The need to pay attention to extra curricular activities and provide all the necessary conditions in order to do its role as required.

2- Review the timing for extra-curricular activities.

3- Preparing supervisors specialized in the development and implementation of extracurricular activities, and prepare a list of advanced activities that can be implemented in keeping with the development of this advanced age taking into consideration the needs of society for all educational stages, especially the middle school phase.

4- Avoid improvisation and spontaneity when practicing of extra-curricular activities through planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up in accordance with scientific standards.
