The Egyptian Petroglyph and Text from the pre-dynastic period to the coming of the Greeks to Cyrene, are the main sources that talked about the Libyans during this period.

These sources dealt with the first Libyans ' attempts to conquer Egypt, and their wars against the Pharaohs until reaching power and establishing ruling families.

These documents helped us to know about the religious and cultural level of development they achieved; they provided us also with simple ideas about their social, economical life and artistic achievements.

These Papyrus that went back to the Libyan reign are very rare.

That is to say they disappeared or decomposed because of its existence in the humid Nile Delta region.

Yet they saved us some important information that we will see in this article.
