دراسة تقييمية لأعمال ترميم المعلم الأثري-لجدار-بولاية تيارت سنة 2018 م

Abstract EN

In this article we will try to address the recent restoration work in the archaeological site of lejddar which is located in the province of Tiaret, specifically the first monument of 'Jabal Lakhdar'.

In fact, we first had a historical overview of the site and a brief description of some of its architectural components.

The restoration attempt was done in 13 April 2018 and lasted ten days.

It was performed by Laboratory of Archaeology, Heritage and Measurement Sciences, from University of Algiers 2, in the capital Algiers.

This restoration has witnessed some errors in the restoration which resulted in some changes in the monument, because of the use of materials which do not have the same chemical properties as the original ones and that was caused by a lack of laboratory analysis
