Abstract EN

This study aims at analyzing the unbalanced growth health spending in the developed countries and its impact on the general financial policies from 2008-2018 with the examination of some economic theories in treating this phenomenon, especially Wagner's theory, and Peacock and Weizmann theory.

Through its analytical side, this study indicated that the occurrence of the global crisis has led to a slowdown in the growth of health spending in the developed countries, especially in these five countries: Greece, Iceland, Portugal, Ireland and Spain.

On this basis, the results prove the validity of the economic analysis carried out by both Peacock and Weizman in the presence of sudden spikes in expenditures, which was also confirmed by the results of the standard study, that slowing the growth of health spending in the developed countries can be explained by three main factors: The technological development (GRD), neonatal mortality (TCI), and unemployment (TCH).
