Abstract EN

Research in some terminologies of the field of Qira’at is just a research in the field of linguistic; because the two fields have so many aspects in common, and for the fact that the scholars of Qira'at are in most cases the scholars of linguistic, some of them are even considered heads in the field of linguistic.

Books of the two fields are considered original reference points for each other in regards to terminologies and other aspects.

This research however, is a comparative study on the term; “Ar- Raum” in the endings of words between Al-Qurra’ (scholars of modes of recitation) and scholars of grammar, with the aim to provide reader with different views of the two groups, their valid and invalid aspects in using the term, In addition to shedding light upon their justifications and distinctions.
