The aims of the study: - Identifying the effect of flexibility exercises on the development of some blocking skills in the subjects of the study.

- Identifying the effect of agility exercises on the development of some blocking skills in the subjects of the study.

The Hypotheses of the Study: - Flexibility physical exercises prepared by the researcher have effect on the development of blocking in handball goalkeepers aged 17 – 19 years old.

- Agility physical exercises prepared by the researcher have effect on the development of blocking in handball goalkeepers aged 17 – 19 years old.

The procedures: The researcher used the experimental method.

The subjects were (6) handball goalkeepers from New Solaf club for handball aged 17 – 19 years old Kirkuk governorate.

The researcher prepared special physical exercises for flexibility, motor response speed and agility.

These exercises can develop handball blocking skills through using high intensity interval training and frequency training.

The researcher used stations that suit performance type; each circle consists of three training sessions making a total of (30) sessions.

Eight Blocking skills exercises per training session were prepared by the researcher as well.

The data was collected and treated using SPSS.

Conclusions: - Flexibility exercises had positive effect on improving joints used in skills thus developed blocking in subjects of the study.

- Agility exercises led to development in blocking skills.

Recommendations: - The necessity of having a coach specialized in goalkeeping to develop goalkeeping skills suitable skills.

- Using flexibility, and agility exercises along with goalkeeping exercises according to the athletes' level of skills and age group.
