The aim of the research is to uncover the effect of the information processing strategy in the development of productive thinking among fifth graders in the history subject, by means of testing the following zero hypotheses.
First: There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy and the average scores of the control group students who are studying using the usual method in the test of productive thinking.1- There is no statistically significant difference between the average score of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy and the average score of the control group students who are studying using the usual method of critical thinking test.2- There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy and the average scores of the control group students who are studying using the standard method in the problem solving scale.1- There is no statistically significant difference between the average score of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy and the average score of the control group students who are studying using the usual method in the creative thinking test.
Second: There is no difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy before and after the experiment in the test of productive thinking.1- There is no difference between the average scores of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy before and after the experiment in the critical thinking test.2- There is no difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy before and after the experience in the scale of problem solving.3- There is no difference between the average scores of the students of the experimental group who studied using the information processing strategy before and after the experiment in the test of creative thinking.
