Abstract EN

This study deals with the cognitive etymologyzation of the terms of the “ Alfia Poem of Ibn Malik” (the One-thousand-verse Poem of Ibn Malik) in grammar and morphology; i.e.

as mentioned in the books of early grammarians, with an explanation of the semantic developments that occurred in terms until they reached the age of Ibn Malik, in addition to highlighting the sources of knowledge on which these terms were based.

The study starts from the importance the term occupies in understanding sciences and the importance of the said poem in the field of versification in particular and Arabic grammar in general .

The study was limited to the terminology of speech and what it consists of as a model, so as to present a new proposal that moves from studying the “Linguistic Razaj Poems” semantically to study them terminologically.
