This research seeks to shed light on a phonetic phenomenon that has captured the attention of many researchers from Tajweed scholars, and modern phonologists, the phenomenon of Elevation and Lowering of the Letters of the Arabic language, especially since Quranic studies covered and influenced a large part of Arabic phonetic thought.

In light of this knowledge integration between the two sciences.

It became possible with this study to know the truth of this phenomenon, reveal its nature, and identify the classification criteria of Arabic voices in terms of Elevation and Lowering Letters, and the extent of the context impact in determining their classes.
