Abstract EN

Structuralism emerged as a critical approach to text analysis at the beginning of the last century, taking advantage of the evolution of linguistic studies.

It has moved from anthropology to linguistic studies.

Study the external conditions that have produced it, such as the context and the psycho-social state of the author, to the internal structure of the text/discourse and exclude everything outside the text.

This article aims at analysing the discourse of Sheikh Abd al-Hamid Ibn Badis structurally” the youth of Islam” based on the principles that the structural approach came out, even though each language has its own peculiarities that distinguish it from other languages, so that a specific approach may be is suitable for a language and nit for another one.
