Abstract EN

The Beginnings of Islamic Religious Education in the Sudan has to do with the Emigration and Settlement of Muslim Arin that Country Since the Beginning and spread of Islam, but the main turning point in this subject was the fall of Christian Kingdoms in the Sudan and the Rise of Islamic Kingdoms and Sultanates, Especially the Funj Kingdom, the Fur Sultanate.

Indeed these Kingdoms and Sultanates played a Prominent role in Encouraging Islamic Education through Supporting Muslim (Ulema) and the Quran teaching schools called the (Khalwa), and the Muslim higher schools Attached to Mosques.

This Research Consists of an Introduction and three Topics, the Introduction Focuses on the Importance of Learning and Education in Islam and Islamic Civilization, the first Topic dealt with the Emigration and Settlement of Arab Tribes in the Sudan, Especially the Northern part of this Country, Bringing Arab Islamic Culture to the Region Gradually, the second Topic dealt with the Sufi nature of Islamic Arab Culture in the Sudan and the role of Sufi Orders in Islamic Education, the third Topic Concentrates on the Beginnings of Islamic Education system in the Sudan and the role of Muslim Ulema from Egypt, Hijaz, Yemen, North Africa and other Muslim Countries in the Development of Arab Islamic Education in the Sudan.
