Abstract EN

This research aims to study the judicial situation in Albania and its impact on Muslim families there since theydo not find appropriate lawsto govern family matterssuch as marriage, divorce, other forms of dissolving the marriage, those matters related to marriage and divorce, as well as the rulings related to inheritance, estates and wills.

This causes great difficulty for Albanian familiesas they feel trapped between their religious, cultural roots and between the laws that govern the country and organizetheir affairs, laws which are derived from cultures and values that are not compatible with the rulings of the Shari’ah.

This prompted the researchers to research and study this subject, highlighting the judicial situation in Albania and the impact that is having on the Albanian Muslim family.
